The 7 Steps of Mastering Presentation Skills breaks down simple ways you can use your voice, breathing, eye contact, and gestures to get your message across – quickly and confidently.
By the end of this training, you’ll be able to:
- Gesture and pause appropriately and without detracting from your verbal message.
- Apply the pre- and post-pause during your presentation.
- Distinguish when to join and separate content.
- How to use visual cues to support your gestures.
- Assess when to use eye contact with your audience.
- Identify different voice patterns and when and how to use them.
The training has seven lessons and two skill levels – Essential and Refined Skills. The Essential Skills have 60-minutes of video implementation activities and lesson quizzes. The Refined Skills deep-dive into specific nonverbal skill development and include another 60-minutes of video divided into multiple sub-lessons.
Up to two CE credits are available through the University of Massachusetts (each credit is 15 practicum hours) and a certificate from the Michael Grinder Academy.
